Professor Martins Fabunmi

Professor Martins Fabunmi is currently the President and founder of Global Education Network Ltd/Grt, a society of teacher-educators with membership drawn from several countries. He has served as a teacher for more than forty-two years (1976 to 2018) and at all levels of education. He has adequate international exposure and has served as quality assurance expert, accreditation expert, visiting professor, internal/external examiner and assessor of professorial promotion papers in several countries in America, Europe and Africa. He was a Visiting Professor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, USA; Foundation Dean of the Faculty of Education at Kampala International University, Dares Salaam, Tanzania; and Professor of Education Law and Policy at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He is currently serving as Coordinator for Strategic Planning at the Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola, Nigeria.

Martins is very skillful in the art of writing academic papers, including proposals for funded research. He has won several research grants. Among such are: the Senate Research Grant of the University of Ibadan, the US-based ‘John D. & Catherine T. McArthur Foundation’s Research Grant and Nigeria-based Tetfund Research Grant. He has contributed a lot to community development. He assists educational and non-educational organisations with services. He receives and completes all assignments, even when given at very short notice. He has also initiated another Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), Education Dialogue Association (EDA). It is a policy advocacy organisation. He is married to Dr. Beatrice Ayodeji Fabunmi of the University of Ibadan. The marriage is blessed with four children.
