Professor Mubashiru Olayiwola Mohammed
Professor Mubashiru Olayiwola Mohammed was born in Lagos on 10th July 1960. A native of Odoragunshin, Epe local government of Lagos state. He attended the Afolabi Institute Primary School, Abolade-Oshodi, Lagos State, Nigeria from 1970 to 1975. He later proceeded to St Patrick’s Grammar School, Eredo -Epe from 1975 to 1981. He had the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in 1986 from Lagos State College of Education, Otto-ijanikin and specialised in Economics and Government. Mohammed furthered his education at the prestigious premier university, the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He also attended the Lagos State University, Ojo where he obtained a Master’s degree in education and a doctorate degree (PhD) in education administration in the year 2006.
Dr. Mohammed works at Lagos State University and has served as Director, Sandwich Degree Programme, from 2008 to 2012, Coordinator, Ready Set Work from 2016 till date. He is the current Head of Department, Educational Management of the Faculty of education, Lagos State University. He is currently an Associate Professor. He has published in several local and international journals. He is involved in organizing conferences both national and international. Associate Professor Mohammed is happily married with children and he belongs to some International organizations and serves as deputy president to the Global Education Network and internal Auditor to the Higher Education Report and Policy Network (herpnet).
